Paper pack, .studio format & Christmas cut file

Hiyah!

I have a snowflake printable paper pack for you today,  I’ve picked 4 different shades of blue to cover different times of the day. I also have a stocking and mitten cut file for you, I have existing digi stamp versions of these on this page for those of you without digital cutting machines. Also just a heads up that I will be including .studio formats along with the current formats in my cutting files in the future.

I followed this weeks Mojo Monday sketch for todays card, I used the large checks with grey paper pack for my back layer and the lightest blue from the snowflake paper pack below for the round layer then popped some textured card into an embossing folder for my third layer. I printed my sentiment onto some textured card then cut out with a Spellbinders tag, threaded through some seam binding and added a few pearls. I cut my 2 little mittens in pearl and glittered cardstock and joined together with some shiny white wool.

hanging stocking digi & 2 challenges

Good Afternoon!

I have a hanging stocking digi for you today, its the same as the little stockings hanging on the fireplace in that digi but I thought I’d share a bigger version to have as an image on its own.

I followed 2 challenges for today’s card, Mojo Monday for the sketch and The Play Date Cafe for my colour scheme. As I have started my Christmas cards I wanted to challenge myself to do a Christmas card in such non-traditional colours, well it was a struggle to get it finished. I had trouble getting a Christmas-y feel so I threw some glitter and gems into the mix and decided to draw a line underneath it and move on ;)

I’m having to hand wheel my sewing machine to ensure my stitching lines are straight, if anyone has any advice on this I would be very grateful as my paper/card slides all over the place when I use my pedal. I cut the snowflakes on my Craftrobo/Silhouette, they are from the cut file Snowflake set 1 on this page.

Christmas digi

Hiyah!

I have a digi for you today, I actually made this digi last Christmas but didn’t get time to share it before the big day so it’s been sitting patiently waiting to be coloured since then. I wanted to create the feeling of a cozy Christmas fireplace so I’ve included a co-ordinating sentiment too, I hope you like them :)

I coloured my image with Copics and added little scenes on the tiny cards on top of the fireplace then distressed with antique linen ink. I used the dovecraft Noel pad and some questionable stitching (lol, need more practice) for my backing and wrapped with some organza ribbon and added 2 teeny tiny jingle bells to my bow. To make my sentiment label, I printed the sentiment then trimmed with my paper trimmer and rounded the corners, I added some distress ink then popped in 2 metallic brads.
