Dotty Valentines Day Card & Tag
Hi Guys!
First off I would like to point you in the direction of a forum post I popped up yesterday, I’ve had an influx of questions about the Brother Scan n Cut machine. I don’t have one of these machines but I have done my best to write down what I can to help, you can find it here: How to use SVGs with the Brother Scan n Cut
Ok, now for your freebie. I have a Valentines Day Card and Tag, it is not feminine or frilly in any way so it could work well for the man in your life as it has an unfussy dotty pattern in the shape of a heart.
You will find a Card insert within your cut file which will show through the little holes and the lettering. I cut my insert from white paper then I remembered some red mirror card I had in my stash so I cut a square of that and adhered it inside the front of the card, when the light hits it the lettering shines.
The mirror card I used has a white reverse so it worked well for my tag but if the card you chose doesn’t, you could cut the larger tag shape again from white card to allow you to write your message to your recipient.
Here’s your Free Cut File – Formats include ai, dxf, gsd, mtc, pdf, studio & svg:

thank you !!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent!
Thank you for your kindness!!
Thanks so much! Now if I could just get the nerve to cut something out with my new Portrait!
I saw somewhere else where they used that dotty line to make a flourish that they eventually covered with rhinestones. The dots made is super easy to make the rhinestones perfectly spaced. One rhinestone in each dot. How do you do those dots?
tres joli,
very pretty!!
So pretty! I think I have all the patterns you have shared with us. What a great collection.
Thank you Bird, great design!

You amaze me……I wish I could sit beside you and learn. I laughed when someone asked how to do the dots…..I don’t know how either. Thank you for this lovely file.
Thank you very much.

This is beautiful, but I was wondering if you could edit it to add the apostrophe? Or will I be able to?
I love all your files. Thank you so much
Thank you for sharing this wonderful file.
Beautiful card and tag. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a great weekend.
Very beautiful.. thank you…
Thank you Bird for another beautiful file
Thank you so much for sharing this, Bird! May I ask the name of the font you used for the lower-case letters? It looks to be a very good one for cutting because the insides of the “a”, “p”, “e” etc. stay attached because the loops aren’t fully closed.
Thanks again!
Hello Bird, thank you for this cutting file, it is just perfect. Your generosity is valued by so many and your creativity is so inspiring. Thanks for the tips on using SVGs with the Brother S&C. Have a great day. Bx
Beautiful – as usual. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful files with us.
Love Joan xx
Thank you for all the hard work you do for all of us.
thank you for all your lovely designs you share for free. I’m sorry to hear on another site that people , even a friend of yours, have been using your files to make money. It seems to be that people have lost their integrity and it’s just take whatever you want with no thought to how hard the owner has worked and pass the design off as their own! You do awesome work and 99% of us who follow you appreciate that it’s yours and you are allowing us to use it to bring happiness to our friends and family only! Thank you!!!
Thank you for your generosity!
