I have a new Deep Edge card for you today with a Heart design, it makes for a quick and easy Valentines day card but of course it could also be used for Anniversaries, Engagements etc. If you cut your card at 8″ x 5.5″ (4″ x 5.5″ once folded) it will fit in either a UK or US sized standard envelope.

I have another Heart Cut File for you today, it is a Square Heart Frame set which co-ordinates with some of my earlier cut files, you can find the matching Circles and Border here. You have the solid version to use as a matting layer as I have in my card today and you have the frame version too. First off I would like to point you in the direction of a forum post I popped up yesterday, I’ve had an influx of questions about the Brother Scan n Cut machine. Ok, now for your freebie. I have a Valentines Day Card and Tag, it is not feminine or frilly in any way so it could work well for the man in your life as it has an unfussy dotty pattern in the shape of a heart.
You will find a Card insert within your cut file which will show through the little holes and the lettering. I cut my insert from white paper then I remembered some red mirror card I had in my stash so I cut a square of that and adhered it inside the front of the card, when the light hits it the lettering shines.
The mirror card I used has a white reverse so it worked well for my tag but if the card you chose doesn’t, you could cut the larger tag shape again from white card to allow you to write your message to your recipient.
