I have used the Swirly Tree from the Winter Tree Card Cover in my last post to make a Christmas Tree shaped card for you today, it has the same swirly design but I have added a star on top. I hope you like it :)

I sized my card to 8 inches tall so it would fit into a DL sized envelope. I cut my card base from some green shimmer card then cut my front layer from some green glitter card. I sprinkled my card with some green flat backed pearls and found the perfect green star shaped gem in my stash to finish it off.

I have a new Card Cover for you today with a Winter Wonderland feel, there are some Winter Trees and the largest has a Swirly design. There are 2 layers so you can add a contrasting colour or texture behind your Swirly Tree.

I cut my front layer from some white card then cut my back layer from some holographic glitter paper. For something a little different I added some patterned vellum directly behind the panel then added 3d foam pads behind this so the vellum is away from the card base which allows light behind it to show through. I never seem to pick materials which are very easy to photograph but I hope you get the idea, it is very pretty in the flesh :)

You could dot some gems or pearls around your swirly tree or how about adding a star on top?

Today’s freebie is a new Bauble Card Cover, there are 2 layers so you can use contrasting colours or textures but the 2 layers also makes it nice and sturdy to place 3d foam pads behind.

I chose a shimmery card for my front layer and some glitter card for the back layer then added som clear gems, it’s a shame the full effect doesn’t show on camera but it twinkles in the light :)
