Teddy 2

Good Morning!

I needed to make a Baby card recently and decided to make a suspension card using my Teddy Cut File the only problem is that the Teddy in that cut file is waving so isn’t symmetrical. I had to adapt him which means you will now have 2 versions of the Teddy to choose from :) So, today I have given you both the non-waving Teddy cut file if you’d like to use it on it’s own along with the completed suspension card cut file, all you will need is some adhesive and thread for your Teddy to spin on.

The most important step of putting the suspension card together is remembering to add your thread to your card base before you add the front layer in order to sandwich it between the two. It will cover all of the sticky tape and holds the thread nice and firm too. Everything else should go together easily but if you’d like to have a look at how I put a previous suspension card together you can check out the cupid suspension card here.

Lacey Square Frames 2

Hiyah!

Before I share today’s freebies I’d like to mention a couple of quick things:

  1. If you have registered on  the forum  but haven’t had your account activated then please message me with your username and I’ll take care of it for you :)
  2. If you are on Facebook and would like to  add me  as a friend, you will know the moment I post on my blog so you can get your freebies straight away :)

Ok, so what do I have for you today? Well, following Lacey Squares, Circle and Border 1, I now have Lacey Square Frames 2 for you…I wonder if I’ll have a circle or border to match? ;) I cut my lace frame from some lightweight 160 gsm card (approx 60 lbs) along with a sticky mat and a pretty sharp blade.

I’ve also added the digital Sentiment I used for my card.  I changed the colour of my digi sentiment to match the colour scheme of my card using this method.

Swing Card 2

Good Evening!

My bendy card was on the TV again today, Create and Craft had a Christmas Cameo program and there was the Seasons Greetings Bendy Card at the front of the examples again, this time it had it’s very own close-up!! I just had to take another sneaky pic, well, it would be rude not to :)

Ok, enough of all that, lol.

You may or may not remember that some time ago I posted a Rectangle Swing Card, which is also known as a Flip Card or Flip Flop Card. Well today I have an oval version for you, it comes complete with 2 sets of matting layers so all that is left is to decide how to decorate each side of the oval section. This card goes together in no time at all and any card with a moving element is always popular with recipients.

My card was for a teenage boy so I chose some funky paper from S.E.I which has these bright green glazed dots all over it, I cut my happy birthday sentiment from some pearl card in a similar shade of green for the oval and cut the birthday boy’s name for the other side :)
