Hiyah!

I had an email recently asking:

Could you make a cut file from just the swirly decoration you have on a couple of your cards?

I said I would try to get one up this week and I just squeezed in on time ;)

I put 2 sets together for you today and I will have some coordinating cut files coming up soon. I took 2 of the swirly elements from my bendy cards and made a slightly more elaborate version of each. I’m not sure how the person who requested them plans to use them but I’ve given you an example today of one way I would use them, just don’t look at how wonky my letters are :)

It’s good to face your fears, right? Well, I found myself avoiding stitching circles as I had a few mess ups but I forced myself to practice and I have it sussed now! It’s on my list for doing a quick video on when I get my craft room, the new house is growing ever closer! :D

I have a Calla Lily Cut File for you today as I had a request on the forum this morning from Elsieruth saying:

Hi, I need a Sympathy Card for a friends who’s mother passed a way can you help me?

Well I assumed that it was needed straight away so I’ve been working on it all afternoon. I can’t promise that I can always do requests this quickly, if at all, but today I made an exception. I just hope it’s ok :)

I printed my sentiment directly onto my card base then added some lace and a seam binding bow down one side. I cut my Calla Lily pieces with my Zing, I chose a pale green for the backing layer and cut the other pieces from white, darker green and yellow coloured card. I stuck my Lily together with glue which gives a little wiggle room before it dries completely then attached it to my card with 3d foam pads.
