Warm Winter Wishes – Cut File, Digi Stamp & Sentiments

Hi Guys!

I do post a great deal of Cut Files but I also like to include Digi Stamps or Sentiments whenever possible and today is one of those days, I have 1 Cut File, 1 Digi Stamp and 3 Digi Stamp/Sentiments for you :) I have a hot steaming mug for you today perfect for the depths of Winter, it could be filled with Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate or even Mulled Wine! Simply change the colour of your card stock or marker. You can remove the Snowflake from the Cut File and the Mug could be used any time of year, I haven’t added the snowflake to the Digi Stamp as they are tricky to edit and this way you can get the most use from the image. I’ve also made 2 circle sentiments which can be coloured and cut out with punches or dies.

I used the CR84FN challenge for my colour scheme, I cut my Mug and steam from 2 tones of grey then added some glitter to the middle of the back piece before attaching the pieces together so the glitter showed through the Snowflake shape. I cut my liquid part and a piece to represent a table from some tan card and placed on top of a circle panel, excuse my wonky stitching ;) I changed the colour of my sentiment in Word then printed and trimmed before popping over some silver organza ribbon tied in a bow.

I have a new bendy card for you today but I haven’t made one…instead I used the central element from the bendy card and used it on a circle card, I love to get more than one use out of my craft stash including my cut files :) I’ve added the central element separately in the last couple of bendy cards so you can cut them out from a different colour to the card base or to easily and cleanly add glitter to it.

I cut my card base from some shimmery vintage gold card using the scallop loop circle card cut file minus the holes in the scallops. I cut 2 circle layers, one from glitter card and one from a text paper then I cut the central element from today’s bendy card in some more glitter card. I stitched around the circle layers before putting the card together and added some red gems for the holly berries.

Doily Easel Card – by Request

Hiyah!

I sit here sipping on honey and lemon as I’ve had the dreaded lurgy over the last couple of days, it knocked me off my feet yesterday but I feel a little better today. My Dad tried his hand at Beekeeping this year and the honey in my drink is from his first harvest so it feels extra special.

Onto today’s freebie, I had a request on the forum from Carolyn saying

Could you consider doing easel cards with your doily files?

I have turned the doily I go to the most into an easel card for you today, I just hope this is the kind of thing Carolyn had in mind.

I cut my card base and front panel from cream textured card then folded all of the perforated lines and joined the 2 pieces together by adding adhesive to the doily half circle only on the card base. I added a gold snowflake from the Snowflake Set 4 to the front of my card and embellished with gems. I printed a sentiment on more of the same card stock and hand cut some banner edges then popped onto the bottom of the inside of the card with some 3D foam pads to act as a stopper for the front panel to lock in behind when the card is being displayed.
