Card + 3 Digital Stamps – First Posted: Saturday, April 10, 2010

Well I said on Thursday that I would probably be adding to the balloon collection sometime soon and here they are, I have 3 round Hot Air Balloons for you today. Don’t worry this will be all you will see of Hot Air Balloons for a long while, although I got carried away with making tons of these I’m all Ballooned out now.

I chose to use the Balloon with the ribbon swags for my card, I sized it to 3.5 inches in Word and used some circle dies to cut it out. I coloured my image in with prismas, just for a change, giving the balloon a vintage feel going from cream to light umber shades. I layered my circles onto a labels one and added the border and a small die from the fleur de lis Spellbinder sets.

Hot Air Balloons as requested – First Posted: Thursday, April 08, 2010

I had a request on Monday for some Hot Air Balloons so I have some of those for you today and I’ll also pop up the combined image I made for my card for any of you who might like it. I have used a basic balloon shape for todays batch but I have some more in mind so no doubt I’ll be adding to the balloon collection fairly soon, hope these are ok for you for now Judy.

I coloured my image in with prismas and cut out with labels one then popped onto a layer, my image is rather busy and colourful so I kept my layout simple with just one sheet of spotty paper, a strip of ribbon and a scallop border die.

Home is where the heart is Card, Digi + Sentiment – First Posted: Sunday, April 04, 2010

Todays image is a Cottage at the end of a tree lined path. I was inspired by a scene in the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries although the scene was quite a bleak one where the house was the vampire den and there was no grass or leaves I really liked the idea of a path of trees leading right to the door so I decided to make mine a little country cottage with a thatched roof.

I thought this image could be used for a new home card and made a ‘Home is where the heart is’ sentiment to go with it in a square frame which can be cut out with a square nestability or punch etc.
