Another requested digi + card – First Posted: Sunday, April 18, 2010

Good Evening!

I’ve had Poppies on my ‘to do’ list for a while and I have received a few requests for them lately so here you are.

I wanted a really intense colour for my Poppies so I colured them with Promarkers then went over with my Prismas, it gave a nice saturated look so I stopped there and didn’t use any OMS this time and opted not to use a background colour behind the flowers as I normally would. I typed my sentiment directly onto my card base, matted my image with some red card and popped it onto my white card with some 3D foam pads for a simple and minimalist look.

Camelia Birthday Card + Digi – First Posted: Tuesday, April 13, 2010

I’ve made a square sentiment frame today, it made sense (to me at least) after making a circular one yesterday. I’ve been asked to make more floral digis so todays incorporates Camelias and I added a faux stitched effect to the frame for a little difference too. I hope you like it.

I sized my image to approx 3 inches in Word, printed then coloured with my Prismas and trimmed out with small scissors. I matted this onto some black card and made a black and white card so my flowers would stand out using more black card, a white card base, some black, white and grey paper and black twill ribbon.

Apple Blossom Digi – First Posted: Monday, April 12, 2010

I have to start today by saying a big thank you for the lovely comments I have had over the last couple of days, it is so nice to have feedback as I do wonder sometimes what kind of things you would like to see and I am chuffed to bits to think that I have produced something that is useful to you.

I’ve made an Apple Blossom Frame for you today, I thought that it could be handy for stamping your sentiments into. I trimmed around my frame with some small scissors for my card and its not too fiddly to do, it only took a minute just remember to turn the card and not the scissors to get smooth lines.
