birthday wishes card + digi – First Posted: Friday, August 27, 2010

Hi There,

I’ve made some more circle frames for your sentiments for you, these have a channel through the middle where you can either stamp, write or print your sentiment. As these are circles you can either die cut them with your Spellbinder Nestabilities, use your circle punches, circle scissor, colluzle etc or simply trim around them with your scissors. I hope you like them and will find them useful.

I used frame number 4 for my card, I inserted it into Word and sized it to match the circle die I wanted to use then changed the colour to a teal shade of blue to match my paper. I added my sentiment which I turned red and placed in the middle of the frame before printing it out and die cutting. I shaded the image with some pencils and added some sticky gems for dimension, all in all, a quick and easy focal point for my card. I used my patterned paper to dictate the colour scheme of my card but realised once I had finished it that it looks very Christmassy, oops it wasn’t meant to, lol.

Free Digital Sentiments

quick kids card + sentiment – First Posted: Monday, August 23, 2010

Good Morning!

This is a very quick and fun card I put together using one of my favourite stamp sets, its a Hero Arts one called Playful Animals, it’s got cute little elephants, monkeys, owls etc and is perfect for when you need to make a kids card in a hurry. I used the little crocodile on my card and knew that the reptile skin font I had would be a great match for my sentiment. To add to the ‘snappy’ effect, I die cut 2 pieces of card with the spellbinders ric rac border to give a hint of crocodile teeth to the card.
