A card to brighten up a dull day – First Posted: Friday, October 30, 2009

I’ve had this card in mind for a while and it was a little dull outside today and thought it was a perfect card to lift my spirits, and who doesn’t love rainbows? I really like the minimalistic style of this card, I’m always tempted to keep adding but have to force myself to stop.

I ran 2 strips of tape along both edges of a piece of card and wrapped different colours of 1/4 inch ribbon around it and added my sentiment using We R Memory Keepers Double Churned Alphabets.

TeenWeen Card – First Posted: Thursday, October 29, 2009

I thought there was time for one last Halloween card before the 31st comes, this is a quick card which I intended for a teenager thus the silly TeenWeen name :D

I painted a grungeboard skull and crossbones with white acrylic paint and backed with some holographic black card. I printed my sentiment onto my orange card stock and cut 3 halloween-ey colours into one inch strips, added a few black brads and added to a black card blank. Quick, easy and colourful.

Square Card & CD Envelope #2 – First Posted: Wednesday, October 28, 2009

I have been asked if I could re-do the square card and cd envelope template without the score lines which is no problem at all, if you are happy enough with where the score lines go it is a good idea as your recipient will not see the dotted lines when they open your envelope. Here it is:

This is another one I made in a blue and grey colour scheme, the patterned paper is from basic grey. I added a tag after knotting the ribbon before I tied the bow.
