You’ll have to bear with me as I’m on a bit of a ribbon kick at the moment, I was so excited when I found the video (below) demonstrating how to do this ribbon weave and I thought that it would be just perfect to turn into a Christmas Wreath for a Christmas card and the best bit is that it is very quick and easy to do.
I used 1/4 inch satin ribbon in a forest-ey green colour and added a gold edged red ribbon and some red gems for detail.
I hope you all had a good Halloween, I watched a scary film…from behind the pillow as usual ha ha. I don’t know why I do it to myself. I’m so easily scared and yet I always watch the scariest and goriest films – mad I know!
Todays card is a variation on the smile rainbow card that I did a couple of days ago, I changed the orientation of the ribbon and added some threaded buttons. I chose Autumnal colours which wouldn’t normally be my first choice but I quite like it now that I have done it and no doubt I’ll experiment with this colour scheme again.
