Glittery Bauble Card – First Posted: Wednesday, December 09, 2009

Black isn’t a colour that automatically comes to mind when thinking about Christmas cards but it’s nice to experiment.

This is a variation of an earlier bauble card I made. This time I covered the circles with glitter and added a snowflake with a brad to each and stamped a swirl design to the top of my black card stock which I embossed with silver embossing powder. I punched 2 small holes in the swirl area and threaded my silver cord through and attached on the back of the baubles to make them look like they are dangling.

Santas Sack digi stamp – First Posted: Tuesday, December 08, 2009

I printed off my digi, coloured it in with markers and cut round it. My gift card holder is made from a strip of white card measuring 8.25″ x 2.75″ which I scored at 1.5 inches from one end and 3 inches from the other. I covered all 3 outer sides with some free printable background paper which I found here, I added 2 brads to hold the gift card in place and added a ribbon tie in a nice bright pink, easy peasy!

New Christmas Digi – First Posted: Monday, December 07, 2009

Todays digi is a santa stuck in the chimney because he has been eating too many mince pies left out for him by children, I hope you like it :)

In my card I coloured my image with markers and added glitter for snow and white embossing powder for the fluffy part of his trousers. I layered my image onto red snowflake paper with a white scalloped border and a red ribbon on top of blue backing paper and a white card base.
