Dress to Impress! – First Posted: Wednesday, December 23, 2009

This is the second card I’ve done with the bodice digi, I printed it onto some spotty paper and cut a long conical skirt which I pleated and placed foam pads behind to keep the shape of the pleats. I added some narrow ribbon for a belt and cut a white band following the top of the bodice and snipped out a triangle in the middle.

I made the handbag from a trimmed oval punch out in co-ordinating paper with a brad and sequin for a clasp and a piece of ribbon for a handle.

I went for a gold theme this year with the gifts I sent to family, here are my gift card holders.

I layered my gold vellum from Anita’s Christmas Gold Vellums 6″x6″ paper pad on top of white card stock, my embellishment is made of the Merry Christmas oval sized to match my oval punch and 2 of the snowflakes from the Spellbinders snowflake border dies finished with small clear gems. The colour scheme was followed through with gold brads and 1/2″ gold ribbon.
