Tip Jar

I’ve been receiving emails asking where the button is on my blog for readers to make donations, well I’ve never had one as I have always given my designs freely but as the emails have continued I have decided to add a tip jar. Please do not feel as though you have to use it, but if you do, please know that it is very much appreciated and will help with my hosting costs.

I really do enjoy making all of the digital stamps, sentiments, templates, papers and I especially love creating cut files thanks to my lovely other half who surprised me with my first very own personal cutting machine for my Birthday. It makes me incredibly happy to think that my designs could be useful to others and it’s difficult to comprehend sometimes that something that I make here in the birdhouse might be used in different locations around the world. It makes me doubly happy to think that I might help with those of you who have limited craft budgets too.

Thanks for visiting my little corner of the blog world :)

As I have more readers from America than any other country we have used Dollars as the default for PayPal. I’m sorry if this causes any confusion but I think you will need to enter a Dollar amount if you are being incredibly generous and considering to donate.

I did find a handy site for easy conversions here, you can use it to convert any currency into Dollars.

Swirl Corners by Request

Hello!

I had a request from Jackie H saying:

Would you consider doing a corner triangle with swirls in it, could the frame be adapted for that purpose?

I’ve made 4 different corner designs for you, I hope there’s something in there that you like :)

For my card, I picked one of the corners and cut it 4 times. I printed the sentiment which you can find here onto my card then cut a spellbinders fancy tag around the sentiment. I threaded some ribbon through the tag and attached it to the back of my panel then glued the corner pieces in place. I made a butterfly cut file set a while back, one of them has a heart design in its wings which makes it perfect for valentines projects, you can find it here. I cut my butterfly and its backing layer then added some gems to the body, curled the wings to add some dimension and popped it onto the card beside the sentiment.

Swirly Frames 3 & 4

Good Afternoon!

I have another set of swirly frames for you today but this time the swirls are on the outside of the frame. Of course you don’t have to cut out the square in the middle of the frames, you can chose to leave the middle area solid. Basically, feel free to play around with my cut files and make them work for your needs :)

I cut a 6 inch black card base then chose some antique gold vellum which I stitched onto some white card with my sewing machine. I cut my frame from some black textured card, I tied a silk ribbon bow around the vellum panel then stuck my frame down with some black foam pads cut into half. I printed my sentiment onto some white card, I die cut it with a spellbinders die and layered it with the next size up then attached to my card using 3d foam pads either side of the ribbon.
