Hi all!

Let’s take a break from the place cards for a sec, I have a new deep edge card for you today, this one has a section to thread ribbon through and a scalloped flower edge. I’ve sized the ribbon slots to fit half inch ribbons as the majority of the ribbon in my stash seem to be that size and I hope it is the same for you. If you pass the ribbon through the inside of the card at the start and thread in from both sides you will have the two ends ready to tie your bow in the middle at the front of the card and the inside of your card will be neat and tidy (I get a bit obsessed about that). The little flowers on the edge have a space in the middle of them so you can pop in some gems or pearls, I coloured my gems with a copic marker to match the colour scheme of my card.

I have some heart or love themed place cards for you today, I hope you forgive me for using images that I have shared before but I think they work quite well for place cards. The second place card has an element I took from a bendy card, my Mum says it looks like a Crown or Tiara to her perched up on top of the place card like that. I think either one would be a great addition to your valentines or anniversary table or of course a wedding.

I’m away next week for a Wedding but worry ye not I have been working away like a busy little bee making sure that there are plenty of projects to keep you going in the interim, you shouldn’t even notice that I’m not at home. I have had quite a few requests for more / specific place cards so I’ve added a couple more sets of those and I have another deep edge card and a frame set I’m really pleased with too so there’s plenty to keep you going :)

I have some more place cards for you today, this time it’s a pair of Butterfly place cards. There are 2 designs, you may recognise them from here when they were first posted. If you’d like to add layers to the Butterflies on your place cards and make them 3d you could cut some extra Butterflies and just glue them in the body area then bend the wings outwards when dry. If you wanted to bling them up, you could add some sparkly gems down the body (I wish I thought of doing that before I photographed them).

I have a Niece that loves Butterflies so I think these would be cute for a little girls birthday party. Butterflies are often associated with change or new beginnings so they could be suitable as part of the table arrangements at a baby shower or wedding, engagement or anniversary celebration. I spared you my handwriting but you can write or stamp your names on the area below the butterfly.
