I’m posting last months KnK Design Team project here in case you didn’t see it at the time over at the Team KnK blog and also to include the cut files into my archive to keep them all together.

Having a Zing means that I can personalise any special occasion with names or ages to make it just a little bit more special. So, as we have one of those big Birthdays ending in ’0′ coming up in our family next month, I thought it would be fun to hang some bunting with the Birthday Boy’s age on for all to see.

I’ve come up with 2 sets of Pennants, one with a more masculine style and the other with feminine lace-y scallops. Each set has 0-9 so you can make up every combination of age to suit any Birthday. The first set also comes with 2 different styles of ‘today’, the second set comes with ‘you are’ and ‘today’ for you to add before or after your numbers. Both sets are available for you at the end of this post.

As some of my Pennants were quite intricate, especially the second set, I picked out a couple of sheets of Worldwin Cutmates Cardstock as I can always rely on it to get a great cut!

I cut my Pennants on my trusty Zing with Make the Cut software, my settings were: height 25 post-it notes, standard blade, 0.30 offset, speed 10, force 65, one pass.

It’s been a very busy week here in the Birdhouse, we’ve had a Birthday-come-Housewarming party with Family visiting from all over, it’s certainly been a good test of how many people our new house will hold. This is why it’s been a little quiet here on my blog but normal service will now be resumed ;)

I have the next of my Pennant designs for you today, it combines the Retro Rose design with a ‘Mr & Mrs’ sentiment so it would be perfect for Weddings. It has holes in the corners so simply cut, thread with ribbon then hang :)
