Digital Stamp 3 Ways #1 – First Posted: Wednesday, October 07, 2009

This is one of 3 videos which show 3 different ways you can use a Digital Stamp simply by altering the size of the digi before you print it. In this video I printed the image on 2 pieces of 6″x6″ patterned paper from a Christmas paper pack by Papermania. I expanded the image to 5 inches tall so that I knew it would fit into a standard size envelope. I paper pieced the stocking then attached it to my card base and cut around the image. I added ribbon and a scallop circle embellishment to complete the project. The other videos show the same Christmas Stocking Digital Stamp used as a card embellishment and a gift tag (see yesterdays post for a picture of them).

Witching Hour Card + Video – First Posted: Saturday, October 03, 2009

Another Halloween card today with a new sentiment for you. I printed the sentiment directly onto my card base and embossed some holographic black card with the Webbing Texture Plate from Fiskars. I coloured the Witches Hat Digital Stamp with Promarkers and added some sticky gems which i coloured with markers to match. I matted and layered the hat and embossed cardstock and added some ribbon.

Glitter Frame Card + Video – First Posted: Friday, October 02, 2009

This is going to be my Christmas card for sending out this year, I have done it in a couple more colours too and as soon as I take some photos of those I’ll pop them up. Of course my place is covered in glitter now, including my fella! hahaha, he doesn’t mind really.

I had some large star shaped brads I’ve been wanting to use for a while now so I chose to make a Christmas Tree card, if you don’t have star shaped brads you can use star shaped sequins or punch outs. I used the Filigree Fiskars Texture Plate to emboss the Tree card stock and the Pot can be made out of scraps of card and ribbon. To make the template I used to form the double-sided tape frame I drew a line approx 1cm or 3/8″ in from all sides and cut the center out with my paper cutter.
