Card with digi – First Posted: Friday, March 12, 2010

So, where was I? I was in a stained glass window phase so here is another one for you this time with a butterfly. I picked some prisma colours which I thought went well together and let that dictate the colours of the card stock etc. I embossed my card stock with a dots Fiskars texture plate and added some twill ribbon coloured with Promarkers.

Stained Glass Digi + Card – First Posted: Thursday, March 04, 2010

I’d like to start today by thanking everyone for the lovely comments that you have left over the last few days, they mean alot to me. There have been times where it’s been quiet around here and during those times it is difficult to tell if I am on the right track or not so it really helps to give me an indication of what you like and would like to see more of.

I have gone for a stained glass window effect with todays digi, I am quite pleased with how it turned out and no doubt I will be making a few more stained glass digis in the near future. I printed my image onto card stock and coloured with pencils and OMS but I’m tempted to see how I can make them work with acetate and vellum now.

Card and Digi – First Posted: Wednesday, March 03, 201

Todays digi is a vase of Tulips, I coloured mine a pink-y purple but you could easily colour yours yellow for an especially springtime feel. I used Prismacolor and Derwent Pencils and Sansodor and chose another colour from my small checks paper pack as my backing paper. I threaded some wide ribbon through slots formed with the large Tonic ribbon weave punch and border system and used the Spellbinder Lattice Border behind the ribbon.
