Spider Web Pennant

Good Evening!

I have another Halloween project for you today, this time it’s a Spider Web Banner complete with little sparkly spiders. Perfect for any Halloween parties that you may be holding or simply to decorate your home for the spooky season.

I cut my Spider Web Pennants from some black card and threaded them with some black ribbon, I got 3 pennants from one piece of a4 card and they are actually a reasonable size (approx 7.5 inches tall) so you don’t need to use a ton of card stock for these:

To make my sparkly spiders, I cut some narrow strips of black card for the legs and ran a sakura glaze pen over them to add some shine then popped one of the 12mm black sparkles on for the body:

Haunted House Card

Good Evening!

Oh it felt good to get back to some crafting today after what turned out to be a very long week (or so) of ‘stocking’ the shop. I’m very relieved to have it all set up and running now so things can go back to normal…until my next secret project that is! – insert halloween style laughter here –

Aaaanyway what do I have for you today? I have a Haunted House card complete with vellum layer and extra front panel if you’d like to re-create the stained glass effect card I made today :)

Pic 1. I cut my card base from plain black card, I cut the vellum layer from some white vellum then cut my front panel from some awesome varnish detailed paper from Kaisercraft’s 75 cents paper pad:

Pic 2. I glued my vellum piece onto the front of the card base with a glue pen:

Pic 3. I scribbled some Copics (I reckon any markers would be fine for this) over the windows, door and road areas:

Pic 4. All of my messy colouring was hidden away once I glued the front panel onto my card, sandwiching the vellum between the panel and the card base:

Pic 5. This is how the inside of the card looks, just as neat and tidy as the front!:

Pennants 13 & 14

Hiyah!

I have another new pennant shape for you today, I have the plain shapes with the different scalloped edges and I also have 2 lace versions for you, a flower and a butterfly.

For my first example I cut the plain shapes using different patterned papers from the same paper pack so all of the colours would co-ordinate:

I cut the Butterfly for my next example, simply threaded with seam binding and hung, I think this would be lovely for a little girls bedroom:
