Snow Scene Card Cover

Good Evening!

I have a new Card Cover for you today, you may recognise this design from the Snow Scene wrap card here. I thought I’d make a Card Cover in a similar design as the Card Covers are so quick and easy to use which comes in handy at this time of year when we have so many cards to make :)

I cut my front layer in white and the back layer in navy blue then glued the two together. I found some patterned card with a foiled snowflake design for my background, I popped my card cover on top with some 3D foam pads then added some gems to the middle of the snowflakes. I used this font to cut my sentiment into a banner shape then added a snowflake cut in silver card and vellum with some more gems on top.

Bauble Card Cover

Good Evening!

I have a new Card Cover for you today, it has 2 of the new baubles from my last post in a cut-out stencil style. The cut file gives you the front layer and the slightly larger back layer but also includes 2 pieces for placing between the layers to make it nice and easy to add some colour behind your baubles.

For my card I cut my front layer from some grey pearl card then I cut my back layer from some silver glitter card to give me a glitter border around the edge and it also peeks through the string cut-outs too. I added some silver glitter bows and gems to the top of my baubles and also added a banner sentiment popped up on 3d foam pads, both of these give the card some dimension.

Baubles 4

Hello There!

I have a new set of Baubles for you today, this years version are a longer shape and the set contains one plain and two patterned baubles.

For today’s example I made a 3D Bauble. I placed 12 baubles at 5.5 inches high on one sheet of 12 x 12 inch gold card, I folded each piece in half then glued them together to form a circle. I tied a gold string in the top then glued 2 bows at the base of the string. This effect can be re-created with any symmetrical design.

You can also use the baubles flat on a card either with or without the plain version as a backing layer, here are some of my previous years examples:
