Happy Anniversary – by Request

Hey all :)

Well I shopped ’til I dropped at the craft show in the NEC on Friday, I was quite restrained in my spending though. I got a few items that I particularly wanted such as the last few Distress Ink pad colours that I needed to complete the set and a new Versamark pad. I also got some lovely decorative brads, a few different colours of bakers twine, 2 types of jingle bells and some red and gold shimmer card stock, so I’m all ready to get some Christmas Cards done now :)

Onto today’s freebie, Nana Rogers made a request on The Forum saying

Could you possibly do one of the bendy cards with Happy Anniversary?

I’ve not made one up for you as time has been a little short and you know how they look by now ;) but here it is, I hope it’s ok.

Thanksgiving Bendy Card – by Request

I had a request on The Forum by creative197404

I love your bendy cards! I was trying to create one for Thanksgiving, but it didn’t turn out so lovely (I’m fairly new at this craft). If you have time, would you consider designing one for us?

So, here it is, my first ever Thanksgiving card :)

I cut my card base in a textured gold coloured card and although the cut file comes with a separate central panel I chose not to cut one for my card as I liked the text in the gold colour. I cut a square of rust colured card just smaller than the back panel of the card to make the sentiment stand out.

Warm Winter Wishes – Cut File, Digi Stamp & Sentiments

Hi Guys!

I do post a great deal of Cut Files but I also like to include Digi Stamps or Sentiments whenever possible and today is one of those days, I have 1 Cut File, 1 Digi Stamp and 3 Digi Stamp/Sentiments for you :) I have a hot steaming mug for you today perfect for the depths of Winter, it could be filled with Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate or even Mulled Wine! Simply change the colour of your card stock or marker. You can remove the Snowflake from the Cut File and the Mug could be used any time of year, I haven’t added the snowflake to the Digi Stamp as they are tricky to edit and this way you can get the most use from the image. I’ve also made 2 circle sentiments which can be coloured and cut out with punches or dies.

I used the CR84FN challenge for my colour scheme, I cut my Mug and steam from 2 tones of grey then added some glitter to the middle of the back piece before attaching the pieces together so the glitter showed through the Snowflake shape. I cut my liquid part and a piece to represent a table from some tan card and placed on top of a circle panel, excuse my wonky stitching ;) I changed the colour of my sentiment in Word then printed and trimmed before popping over some silver organza ribbon tied in a bow.
