Anniversary Edge Card

Hi Guys!

I’ve been asked to come up with a few more diagonal sentiment edge cards so, I have a Happy Anniversary Card for you today. I wanted to make my card a little romantic so I chose some rose patterned paper and added a pink ribbon bow.

Good Evening Guys!

I have a new background design for you today, it matches this card cover that I shared recently as it has the same flower pattern. So, whether you want to make a square card or a rectangle card, I’ve got you covered ;)

No.1 Dad

Hiyah!

I’m still a bit restricted on what I can get done as my craftroom renovations are taking a little longer than we first thought, so I have another project from Team KnK to share that you may not have seen:

Father’s Day will be with us soon and having a cutting machine means that I can make a fun shaped card for it. I chose a Trophy design with a ‘No.1 Dad’ sentiment to be added to the trophy base, the cut file is available at the end of the post if you’d like it. I’ve also added Mum/Mom sentiments for you too in case you’d like to make a Mum or Mom version in the future :)

Assembly:

Pic 1. Below are the pieces you will need to cut to complete your trophy card. Chose which sentiment you would like to use then cut it from the same gold/silver card you choose for your trophy shape. I chose a complimentary gold colour for my card base, you will also need to cut a rectangle piece of black card to represent the marble trophy base:

Pic 2. Adhere your trophy piece to your card base then stick your sentiment onto your rectangle piece. I find double sided tape is best to use as wet glue and mirror card don’t always play well together:

Pic . Using more tape, place your sentiment piece onto the bottom of the trophy, fold your card along the perforated lines and you’re done!:

Pic 4: For a bit of fun, how about adding your Dad’s favourite team’s colours to the trophy handles like they do at big sporting events?:
