Hi Guys!

I have another set of background files including another of the mix and match card and sentiment files, this time it is a Valentines Day set full of hearts. I think today’s set would work particularly well as a mix and match with the Retro Rose set if you’d like to change either the sentiment or the background pattern.

I chose not to add a layer behind the hearts on my card base as I love to see through the cut outs and the shadows they cast but it looks just as nice with a contrasting colour peeking through the design, I always have the same dilemma with this style of card. I did want the pop of colour behind my sentiment panel though especially as it is a Valentines Day card and there has to be some red or pink, right?

I have a Valentines Day Bendy Card for you today although I decided not to make a bendy card and just use the front panel, don’t be afraid to just use parts of my cut files or adapt them in any way that makes them work for you :)

I cut my sentiment panel from some shimmer card and layered with 3d foam pads onto some heart patterned paper that I’d stitched to some white card. I tied a double seam binding bow and paired with an embroidered brad.
