New Paper Pack! & updated file

Hi Guys!

I have a new paper pack for you today, it is a hanging Bauble design that incorporates this years and last years Bauble patterns. Of course you can use the papers on their own or for a coordinated look you can use them along with the matching Bauble Cut Files. To craft with these papers, simply open the pdf, chose a colour then print onto your card/paper and craft as you ordinarily would :)

I printed the red design with the gold bauble tops onto some white card then popped it into my Zing to cut my pillow box, I wasn’t happy with my existing pillow box cut file so I’ve updated it, it cuts better now :) I have replaced all of the relevant links with the updated version.

I cut the plain bauble which comes in both cut file sets from some red pearl card and cut the bauble top from some gold mirror card to use as my tag. I wrapped some gold cord around my pillow box, threaded on my tag and tied a bow.

A pillow box is the perfect way to share small gifts such as jewellery wrapped in some tissue paper, they can be tied to your Christmas Tree too!

Baubles 3

Hello!

I have set of Baubles for you today, they are the same shape as the Baubles 2 set I made last year so you can mix and match them. One of last years baubles has Merry Christmas within it and after posting it I had a request for Seasons Greetings to be used so I’ve remembered to add one of those in this years set :) As with last years set, there are 3 Baubles with cut out designs and 1 plain Bauble shape which can be used separately or can be used as a backing to the patterned Baubles.

I cut a square piece of patterned vellum to approx 6 inches then cut a 5.5 inch square piece of white card, I folded the overlapping pieces of the vellum over the edges of the white card and used some double sided tape on the back of the white card to hold the vellum in place. As the vellum is wrapped around the white card and adhered behind, you can not see any of the adhesive from the front. I cut 2 of the baubles from some thin gold mirror card and strategically placed some 3D foam pads behind them. I tied some gold cord to the baubles, I added some gold ribbon and embellished the swirls on the smaller bauble with some 3mm clear gems. I made a 5.75 inch square card base from some gold pearl card by cutting an A4 piece down to 11.5 x 5.75 inches and folding in half then I stuck the vellum panel in place with some strong tape.

Complete Cardmaking Issue 46

Hiyah!

Thanks to those of you who gave me the heads up about being featured in the current Issue of The Complete Cardmaking magazine, I had no idea my site was going to be mentioned so it was a complete surprise and without you lovely guys I never would have known! I ordered a copy and took a couple of sneaky photos:

Page 26: There were 4 different sites mentioned on page 26, I loved the way that my site was described as a ‘one-stop freebie website’, I thought that was pretty cool!

Page 27 Top: Kelly Dawkins made 2 cards using my freebies, the first one used the Holly Wreath digi and the Holly-days sentiment.

Page 27 Bottom: The second card Kelly made was an easel card which included my snowflake printable paper pack, the zigzag xmas tree and the winter wonderland sentiment.

The magazine comes with a CD of images and papers etc so I have something to play with too :)
