Pennants 13 & 14

Hiyah!

I have another new pennant shape for you today, I have the plain shapes with the different scalloped edges and I also have 2 lace versions for you, a flower and a butterfly.

For my first example I cut the plain shapes using different patterned papers from the same paper pack so all of the colours would co-ordinate:

I cut the Butterfly for my next example, simply threaded with seam binding and hung, I think this would be lovely for a little girls bedroom:

Halloween Treat Bags

Good Afternoon!

I’m posting another of my KnK Design Team projects here in case you didn’t see it at the time over at the Team KnK blog and also to include the cut files into my archive for future use.

Halloween is on the horizon so today I have made a couple of treat bags for the little ones in our lives to take trick or treating. The Cut Files are available at the end of this post :)

I used my Zing and Make the Cut to cut the pieces for my Pumpkin Treat Bag from some Worldwin Colormates Smooth and Silky cardstock. My settings were: height 25 post-it notes, standard blade, 0.30 offset, speed 10, force 75, one pass:

I folded along all of the perforated lines and added some red-liner style tape to the tabs:

The tab should follow the edge at the bottom of the pumpkin area to ensure a 90 degree angle:

The Pumpkin and Stalk can now be glued onto the front and back of the bag and ribbon can be added to the holes in the sides:

Here is the skull and crossbones version made with the same method:

Bring on the Sweets! :)

Beware Bendy Card

Good Morning!

I have another Halloween Bendy Card for you today, this one says Beware in a ‘B’ movie kind of style. I remembered to add the sentiment panel as separate layer in case you’d like to cut it in a different colour as I have done for my card today.

I cut my card base in black then I chose some sparkly pink adhesive vinyl for my sentiment panel and also added a square of purple glitter card for a fun backdrop. There wasn’t much scary about this card by the time I had finished with it, who says Halloween can’t be pretty and sparkly anyway? ;)
