I have a new Box design for you today, it has a separate lid that comes half way down the box base. As the box base and lid are shown, this box works particularly well if you are using different colours or designs of cardstock as I am today for my project. I hope you like it :)

Patricia from PaperTemptress.com generously sent me some of her paper packs to try out and I have to say they are great. As a lot of them have special finishes, they are the kind of papers that you would only need a little of, to give that special touch to your project.

Here are 2 of the packs that Patricia sent, I’ve tried to photograph them to show off the great selection of paper, card and vellum etc but you really have to see them in flesh!

I picked 2 fantastic Lustre Cards from the Purple Speciality pack to make today’s project, Silver Laser for the box base and Vintage Silver for the lid:

I put my box together and decorated around the edge of the lid with gems:

I cut some flower and leaf shapes from the Parchment Vellum in the same Purple Speciality pack for a Flower to top my box:

I shaped my Flower by rubbing an embossing stylus over the back of my vellum pieces then I popped a bit of sparkle in the middle:

Good Afternoon!

I have yet another pennant set for you today, I have more of them yet but I’ll try to give you some other stuff here and there too ;) Today’s set is a lace-y flower version of the new shaped pennant I introduced in this post.

I cut the straight edged version today and although I thought that I would prefer the more feminine scalloped version, I actually really like it. I hope you like it too :)

Pennants 10 Digital Cutting File by Bird

Hi There!

So far, most of my pennants have come in the standard triangular form but today I have a different shaped pennant for you. I have tried to give you a few choices, there is a straight edged version along with 2 scalloped edged versions too.

I made a Mum banner with my pennants today, I cut the loopy scallop versions from some ivory card and 2 layers from some patterned papers. I cut strips of more patterned paper and made some simple rosettes to mount my letters on. I linked each pennant together with some Eggshell seam binding tied into bows.
